Other Voices Other Rooms

Pairing with ASCAP and America Scores afterschool program, along with my band, we toured 5 cities, spending three days crafting, writing, and recording songs with children in their classrooms. Together, we created dance moves, rhythm parts, and even acted out a full play for the video to go with their recorded songs. A cd of the project was created to beautifully capture each song as well as a memorable performance in duet with Martha Reeves and a children’s choir in Harlem’s famous Apollo theater.
